摘要

Diabetes mellitus is most dangerous metabolic disorder which causing various pathological conditions. Current study was conducted on type 2 diabetic patients against healthy persons to evaluate various biochemical parameters after oxidative stress develop by over production of advanced glycation end-products (AGEs). Blood as a sample collected from 150 patients and 100 of healthy controls. Glycosylated hemoglobin (HbAlc), fasting and random blood glucose, lipid profile; cholesterol, triglycerides (TG), high density lipoproteins, low density lipoproteins checked in fasting for more reliable results along Liver function profile, renal function profile and vitamin D level were done. Positive significant correlation of HbAlc with TG, cholesterol, liver function profile, random blood sugar level, fasting level of sugar and renal function profile was noted in diabetic subjects due to uncontrolled production of AGEs.
