Threats to US wheat trade curb rally in grain and oilseed markets

Getting planned big grain and oilseed crops started in a wet, cold spring has proved taxing enough for US farmers - and the struggle is far from over. Yet trade concern is already starting to focus on potential challenges to crop disposal. The ongoinglateness of maize, soyabean and spring wheat sowing in the US continued to feed a firm undercurrent into the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) agricultural complex last week along with the recent round of heavy grain and oilseed buying by China. But there were reverses too as traders worried about the adequacy of next season's potential demand.
