The idea of using wastewater for irrigation is not a new one but it is one that should be seriously considered if Gisborne's need for water is to be met, says the region's Chamber Of Commerce.In its role as business advocate, the chamber has released a report that explores the potential for the use of wastewater to irrigate tracts of horticultural land that is not served by aquifers or other sources.
