In Rusk County (RRC Dist. 6), Texas. Valence Operating Co. completed a horizontal Oak Hill Field-Cotton Valley well. The #1H Thornton-Holland flowed 4.403 MMcf of gas, 20 bbl of 53.5-degree-gravity condensate and l .062 Mbbl of water per day. The 18,458-ft well is on a 1,400-acre lease in Frost Thorn Survey, A-917, and it bottomed about 1.5 miles to the southeast in Stephen C. George Survey, A-312, with a true vertical depth of 10,791 ft. Production is from acid-and fracture-treated perforations at 11.240-18,363 ft. It was tested on a 46/64-in. choke and the flowing casing pressure was 1,065 psi. Valence's headquarters are in Kingwood, Texas.
