Resource Energy Can-Am LLC closed its acquisition of assets in the Bakken Shale from Samson Resources Co., the company said Nov. 7. In September, Resource Energy entered into a stalking horse agreement to buy certain of Samson's North Dakota and Montana properties in the Bakken for $75 million.
