Montana Bakken exploration play starts spilling into Alberta

A tight rock oil play that's being developed in northern Montana is piquing investment in Alberta where companies have been scooping up land along the Canada/U.S. border. In fact, interest extends as far as northern British Columbia. Drilling activity to this point, however, has been concentrated south of the border.
