Empire secures Kansas field

Empire Energy Group has paid US$1.7 million to acquire 97.9% of 3,360 gross acres in the Central Kansas Uplift, one of its core areas. The new blocks have preliminary estimated proved and probable recoverable reserves of 470,000 bbl and are producing 20 bopd.
