Ongoing concerns about cost blow-outs and gas shortfalls at Queensland's world-first CSG-LNG projects haven't stopped Origin Energy (37.5%) and ConocoPhillips (37.5%) approving the development of a second train for the Australia Pacific LNG joint venture. The expanded development will increase the cost of the project to $23 billion, but will double the nameplate output of the plant to nine million tonnes per annum from 2016.
