Acid-base equilibria in aqueous solutions of meta-cresolsulfophthalein in the temperature range of 25 to 200A degrees C

Values of the second thermodynamic ionization constant of pH indicator m-Cresol Purple are determined spectrophotometrically in slightly alkaline aqueous solutions in the temperature range of 25 to 200A degrees C at saturated vapor pressure. Data required for studies on acid-base equilibria in weakly alkaline aqueous solution of rare-earth elements at elevated temperatures are obtained to characterize their behavior in geochemical systems.
