India plans to curb cheap tyre imports from China with anti-dumping duty

Truck and bus radial (TBR) tyre imports from China pose a threat to Indian companies such as Apollo, Ceat, MRF and JK. Amid the standoff between the armies of the two countries in Sikkim and the simultaneous diplomatic intransigence, India plans to curb cheap imports of Chinese tyres into the country by proposing to levy antidumping duty (ADD) to protect the domestic industry.
