Giving a major relief to tyre companies in India, the Government of India has imposed anti-dumping duty (ADD) on truck and bus tyres imported from China for a period of five years. According to the Government's decision, based on the recommendations of the Directorate General of Anti-dumping and Allied Duties, import of a certain type of tyres in the heavy vehicle segment will attract anti-dumping duty in the range of $245.35 - $452.33 per tonne.
