Indonesia to increase rubber area

The Government of Indonesia plans to enlarge productive rubber plantation in the country to boost domestic consumption and exports. According to a Government spokesman, the total productive rubber area is proposed to be increased to 3.5 million hectares from 3 million hectare at present.
