India's NR output expected to rise 16%

India's natural rubber production is expected to register a growth of 16% to 800,000 tonnes in 2017-18, according to Rubber Board, India. The growing trend in India's NR production continued with 5.7 per cent growth during April-August 2017 as compared to the corresponding period last year. Production of NR during the period increased to 259,000 tonnes as compared to 245,000 tonnes during the same period of 2016.
