The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. had 2 per cent fall in sales to $7.4 billion for the first six months of 2017 compared to the 2016 period. The company's year-to-date net income of $ 313 million is down from $ 386 million in 2016's first half. Goodyear's first half segment operating income in 2017 stood at " $ 746"million, down from $ 950 million a year ago.
