HIGH GROWTH POTENTIAL

Backed by a robust macro-economic development,the rubber industry in India is poised for a significant growth.The auto industry,primarily the two-wheeler,passenger and commercial vehicle segments,are showing quantum growth.Many global auto manufacturers are establishing facilities in India,considering the region as a major hub for demand in the near-medium term.The Government's focus on improving rural economy,the agricultural sector and infrastructure is likely to lead to a further spurt in auto demand.This augurs well for the rubber industry.India has been a net importer of natural rubber(NR);however,with domestic availability of synthetic rubber(SR),both are complementary to each other.Further,in the medium/long term,the SR industry has tremendous potential on the back of new green field projects and capacity expansions planned by tyre companies in India.
