Association of Natural Rubber Producing Countries(ANRPC) Annual Rubber Conference 2019 will be held at Yogyakarta,Indonesia on October 7,2019,with the theme Adaptive and inclusive path to sustainable value chain.The event will start at 9 am.The opening session will see participation of representatives from the Governments of Indonesia and Thailand.The first talk will be on The role of multi-stakeholder initiatives in ensuring an inclusive approach to sustainability: The example of the Global Platform for Sustainable Natural Rubber by Stefano Savi,Director,Global Platform for Sustainable NR,Singapore.Prof.Dato’Dr.Ahmad Bin Ibrahim,Faculty of Engineering,Technology & Built Environment USCI University,Kuala Lumpur,will speak on Sustainable natural rubber: Lessons from the oil palm industry.The third speaker for the event is Dato’Aliasak Haji Ambia,President,National Association of Smallholders(NASH),Malaysia,who will speak on Challenges in adopting sustainability standards: Perspective of smallholders.
