摘要

High savings in welding time while maintaining or improving the quality of the welded joint-this was the driving force behind the development of a new optical setup at Evosys Laser GmbH.In the meantime,experience with a well-known German automotive supplier of two real components with increased safety requirements,for which extensive documentation had to be provided,has been gained.Laser welding has established itself in recent years as one of the joining processes for plastics.In addition to the continuous further development of thermoplastic materials,which can be increasingly adapted to the requirements of this process,advances in laser technology and optics have made this possible in particular.The increasing beam quality,high efficiency,good availability and low maintenance requirements allow this joining technology to be used economically.
