TWO-STAGE PROCESS - A MORE FLEXIBLE POWER PRODUCTION OF BIOGAS

摘要

Biogas suits well for electricity production as it is generated independently of the weather conditions and season. This study presents the idea of a two-stage concept as a more flexible demand-driven method of biogas and power production. Due to this concept, not only the overall grid stability but also the congruence between the energy demand and supply can be ensured. Additionally, the storage space can be reduced which can be considered as an economic and security advantage.
