Potato Production : A case study of Azamgarh District of Eastern U.P.

摘要

In the solanacius vegetable-group, the potato is considerably and important vegetable crop, cultivated widely across season and space. Potato is a winter season crop grown widely in India and can fitted very well into a number of crop rotations of vegetable and non-vegetable crops. It has large potential of income and employment generation per unit of 0.4 area and time.
