Data Analysis:Closing the Loop in Assessment

The data analysis process enables program faculty and assessment committees to discover information that supports the decisions that will improve an educational program. Data analysis, if performed correctly, can demonstrate student success and pinpoint areas for improving student learning. If not, it can look like little more than a collection of numbers and an excessive and overwhelming amount of meaningless data.
