I used to believe that being a radiographer meant pushing a button, but after months of clinical education, I know that is not the case; radiography is a science that requires educated professionals to do much more than button pushing. My time in the clinic has shown me that although examinations follow the same process, not every patient is the same. Thus, critical thinking is of the utmost importance. Each patient interaction is important. The encounters ensure all appropriate medical history and information is recorded and provided to the radiologist and that the patient receives the highest quality of care.
