France: 2014 CFA production statistics

Total production has increased from 651 to 704 million units; this amounts to an increase of 52.6 million units filled from 2013 to 2014, or 8.1 %. This is the second consecutive year of strong growth; the market grew by 17.3% in 2013. This growth can be explained in part by the shifting of production to France: a big filler has centralized all of its European production in its French plant, adding 80 million units of personal care products in the past two years.
