Boil-off gas and sub cooling systems success

Dupont explained that this unit fitted on board the LNGC is a TBF-1225 type boil-off gas (BOG) reliquefaction and LNG sub-cooling system, which reliquefies the equivalent of 1.5 tonnes per hour of pure methane. Commissioning was performed during gas trials in May, 2020 on TMS Cardiff Gas' newbuilding LNGC 'Qogir' built by Samsung Heavy Industries.
