Sonatrach explains potential for LNG to be a fuel in demand at European and North African facilities

It is important to study the whole value chain to introduce LNG as a marine fuel in the Mediterranean. Therefore, many European countries have launched numerous studies to implement LNG bunkering. The principal European facilities are located in Belgium, France, Norway, Spain, Sweden and the Netherlands. Many others are planned, taking into consideration the European Union (EU) policy of "at least one bunkering facility in each member state".
