General terms and conditions provided for LNG trading by French law firm De Gaulle Fleurance

French law firm De Gaulle Fleurance & Associes has released the first standard general terms and conditions (GTC) for the sale and purchase of liquefied natural gas, offering a more efficient way to trade LNG on the spot and short-term markets. These LNG general terms and conditions, known as the "LNG GTCs 2018", were overseen by lawyer Ruchdi Maalouf, head of oil and gas at De Gaulle Fleurance and who has had papers published on the subject since 2012, including in the LNG Journal when he previously worked for Norton Rose in Singapore.
