The seasonal surplus is 52 Bcf, or 1.4%, and stocks are 559 Bcf, or 17.8% higher than last year (Storage report). Early consensus for the week ending Nov. 1 is for a below normal injection of 51 Bcf, with estimates ranging from 19 Bcf to 87 Bcf. This compares with a five-year average of 57 Bcf and the 63 Bcf build for the same week last year.
