April gas futures inched less than a penny higher Monday as market fundamentals are relatively unchanged, though the contract managed a close above key $2.70 per million Btu resistance. "The market has not shown much life lately but is only a matter of time before it breaks one way or the other," Gelber & Associates analyst Daniel Myers said. "If it can finally hold onto its gains above this point of resistance it will still be situated to build towards $2.75/MMBtu and consolidate before another move."
