Ethane and propane production growth rates increased over the Apri l-July period rising from 1% year over year in April to 7% in July for ethane and 5% year over year for propane, the US Energy Information Administration reported last week

Gross ethane production totaled more than 1.9 million b/d, while propane output topped 1.2 million b/d. Investment bank Tudor Pickering Holt attributes the growth in natural gas liquids output to rising oil and gas production.
