Monarchs get all the press. With their eye-catching or ange-and-black wings and that miraculous migrationthing they do, it's hard for a less dazzling butterfly to catch a break in the publicity department.By now, I think there are few people who aren't aware of monarch butterflies, their beauty as well as their plight. Yet all butterflies are threatened with many of the same issues, namely habitat loss and pesticide use. Of the 146 butterfly species thatcall Minnesota home, eight are on the endangered list and several more are listed for concern. You may never see these in your lifetime.
