Mexico allows Wal-Mart to sell LPG

Mexico’s energy regulatory commission CRE has issued retailer Wal-Mart Mexico with the frst permit allowing a general retail store to sell LPG cylinders. Wal-Mart Mexico will be allowed to sell 10kg (22lb) LPG cylinders in its retail centres located in the central states of Morelos and Mexico State. The permit limits the size that can be sold in the stores to 10kg, for ease of transportation and safety for customers and the retail centres, CRE says.
