Design and Construction of Skyway Bridge

摘要

This report presents an outline of the unique features in the construction works of the Skyway Bridge that is a cable-stayed bridge and has an inclined tower. This bridge was constructed for the use of pedestrians and cyclists in Rinkaifukutoshin. It was constructing by Tokyo Metropolitan on reclaimed land in Tokyo-bay. NKK received the order to construct this bridge from the Japan Railway Construction Public Corporation and it was completed at the end of last year.
