Construction of Bridge for the Trans-Tokyo-Bay Highway

NKK accepted the order for the construction of superstructure II for the Trans-Tokyo-Bay highway bridge project from the Trans-Tokyo-Bay Highway Corporation in 1992 and completed it in 1995. This highway bridge, the total length of which is 1630 m and the longest span of which is 240 m, is one of the largest girder bridges in Japan. We displayed our manufacturing and constructing techniques successfully through this project. Following this report, we give a summarized description of the design, manufacture, and construction as the characteristics of it.
