Access to justice in environmental matters to implement the Arhus Convention

The Arhus Convention of the United Nations was signed in 1998 by the European Communityand its Member States and entered into force on 30 October 2001.It is a Convention on the acces to information,public participation in respect of the drawing-up of certain plans and programmes relating to the environment and access to justice in environmental matters.
