Senate Approves Uranium Reserve Funding

The US Senate moved forward this week with a fscal 2021 appropri- ations package that includes $150 million in funding for President Donald Trump’s uranium reserve, sending the proposed budget into conference with the US House version, which denied funding for the reserve. The two chambers have until Dec. 11 to either agree on and pass a final 2021 budget or another continuing resolution to extend 2020 spending in the near term and avert a government shutdown.
