摘要

We propose a technology of ultrasonic phased arrays for nondestructive testing of metal structures. This technology makes it possible to determine the sizes and types of defects more precisely. The influence of changes in the parameters of phased arrays on the direction of the sound field of transducer is investigated. We propose a numerical method for the determination of time delays between the elements of the array, which enables us to direct and focus ultrasound beams at a certain depth and for a certain angle of propagation.
