Part of Network Rail’s multibillionpound North of Englandprogramme, the Ordsall Chordwill provide 300m of new railwaytrack, creating a link for the first timebetween Manchester’s main train stations;Oxford Road, Manchester Piccadilly andManchester Victoria Station.Once completed, the Ordsall Chordwill also provide increased capacity, morefrequent trains and less congestion at thesemain stations.
