摘要

The nonuniqueness problem in solving surface integral equations of electromagnetic scattering by a conducting body is considered. A new simplified method to treat this problem using interior field equations is suggested. The new augmented surface integral equation does not need a least-square procedure to obtain the solution. The implementation of the method fully utilizes previous computation and thus significantly reduces the CPU Time. The method can be added to existing codes without changing the original formulation with insignificant additional computational burden.
