Specialized fiber optic systems from AIM GmbH have been built to allow avionic systems to be tested at considerably further distances than previously demonstrated. The MIL-STD-1553 Databus and ARINC429 Data Link have been used extensively in the avionics industry for more than 30 years, and are here to stay. Aerospace System companies and equipment manufacturers find a wide choice of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) interface cards, software and system solutions on the market to support various MIL-STD-1553 and ARINC429 test requirements. As always, there will be test cases, where only a highly specialized tool provider has the right answer.
