Supply Header Project Going Forward Without ACP

When Dominion Energy decided Jul. 5 to cut its losses and shelve the $8 billion Atlantic Coast Pipeline (ACP), it didn't actually cancel the whole project. In a filing with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, Dominion Energy Transmission Inc. (DETI) asked that it be granted a two-year extension on the Supply Header Project (SHP) in West Virginia. It also asked for a one-year extension for ACP as ''certain construction associated with the abandonment and restoration will be required.''
