Enbridge last week began returning its 36 inch Westcoast Transmission Pipeline to service more than three weeks after an explosion on the pipe near Prince George,British Columbia,severely curtailed flows,causing a price-depressing gas glut in northern BC and supply scarcity in southern BC and the US Pacific Northwest.With 80% of gas set to return on the system,these pressures should see some immediate relief-but industry sources say regional producers will face an upended market for weeks,if not months,as flows gradually ramp to full capacity(NGW Oct.29’18).
