$3.4 Billion Appalachia NGLs Storage Hub Advances Toward Development

A major natural gas liquids storage hub in West Virginia has gotten a big push forward with a company hired to focus on the front-end engineering and design of the $3.4 billion project. Appalachia Development Group said last week it has selected Parsons as a partner in the Appalachia Storage and Trading Hub (ASTH), which would serve current and proposed petrochemical plants in and near the region's vast gas reserves. The project already has the support of the American Chemistry Council (ACC) and West Virginia's congressional delegation as well as business and governmental leaders across the region.
