Gas-Fired Plants Totaling 1,671 MW Advance in South Carolina, Indiana

Plans were unveiled last week for a 1,000-megawatt gas-fired power plant in South Carolina, while a 671-MW gas plant went online in Indiana. Together, the two projects represent $1.6 billion in investments and a combined gas burn of 282 million cubic feet per day.
