Summit Midstream Begins Open Season for Double E Gas System

Summit Midstream Partners is conducting a non-binding open season for capacity in its planned Double E Pipeline that will transport gas from Eddy County, New Mexico, where the company is constructing a gas processing plant, to the Waha Hub in West Texas. The line will carry an initial 1 billion cubic feet per day, expandable to 1.4 Bcf/d, beginning in the first quarter of 2021. Firm transportation service will be provided from multiple receipt points in the Delaware Basin to other pipelines around Waha. The cost of the 120-mile pipeline was not disclosed.
