Midstream Companies 'On the Mend,' But Success Hinges on Several Factors

Looking at the midstream sector as 2018 begins, Barclays Equity Research's US MLP Team has identified three major factors separating the "haves" from the "have nots" - structure, positioning and funding. Generally speaking, midstream players are delivering divergent performances depending in part on whether they are C-Corp or master limited partnerships (MLPs) or whether they have reduced their distributions and returned to self-funding, Barclays said.
