Robust LNG demand growth is expected to be overtaken during the 2020s by even more robust supply increases led by the key swing suppliers of the US and Qatar,according to a new report from Energy Intelligence's Research & Advisory(R&A) unit.While Australian LNG supply grows relatively slowly and remains primarily Asia-focused,the US and Qatar will be in a direct battle for market share in Asia,Europe and elsewhere,said the LNG Supply/Demand Outlook to 2030.”Oversupply is more likely than a tight market beyond the mid-2020s,” the report stated.”Guided largely by our supply expectations,we see the LNG market as well supplied through the late 2020s,even in a scenario where demand grows at a faster rate.”
