Pakistan: scrap prices soar

Prices for ferrous scrap are surging in the Pakistani market this week. Exporters are raising their offers to Pakistan inview of revival of demand for the material in other regions. US shredded scrap is offered at $430-440/t C&F Quasim,Karachi ($490-500/t delivered, including all taxes and duties effective in the country) now, by an average of $35/t upfrom early November.
