Hai Kwang Enterprise (Taiwan) to keep scrap purchases at July level in August

Taiwanese steelmaker Hai Kwang Enterprise plans to buy about 55,000-60,000 tonnes of steel scrap in August, thesame amount as in July. The company sources the material from domestic as well as Japanese and US scrapcollectors. The purchases will depend on price trends in the scrap market.
