Chemeketa Community College's Building 20, Salem, Ore.

Carlson Veit Architects PC designed the exterior of Chemeketa Community College's Building 20 with metal wall panels to reflect its technologically driven use. Building 20 houses the college's machining, drafting and engineering departments, and offices for other Applied Technology Department staff. The north side of the building contains a large, open shop; the south side is a two-story classroom wing with adjacent offices. The 50,000-square-foot building was designed to LEED Gold guidelines and completed in October 2016.
