Additional references document the history of gluteal augmentation with cryopreserved fat.

We are writing regarding the recent article titled "Gluteal Augmentation With Cryopreserved Fat" (Aesthetic Surg J 2010;30:211-216), in which the authors describe the injection of fat to improve the gluteal contour. The authors inject cryopreserved fat grafts for delayed gluteal augmentation and conclude that their method can reduce costs and morbidity for patients. Although we would like to congratulate the authors for their strong results and for advocating the placement of grafts instead of implants, we would like to suggest some additional references that were not included in the original text.
