Aspects of Implementing Super-Resolution Methods into Phased Array Radar

The problems of applying superresolution to a multifunction phased array radar for jammer mapping are reviewed. New methods like covariance matching, partial deriv-MUSIC, HOS MUSIC, test criteria are discussed. Recommendations for a suitable combination of superresolution methods and procedures for source number determination are given, solutions for calibration problems, suppression of noise sources, and detection of correlated sources/multipath are presented.
